Writer at the cutting table with notes

The loft on Dunlop Street is small on purpose — timber louvers, a long cutting table, boards on the wall. Campaign architecture happens here in pencil and typed documents, not in a credentials parade or an open-plan pitch floor.

The Dunlop desk is the long cutting table under the louvers — where briefs are opened, hierarchies are argued politely, and copy is read aloud to catch the wrong rhythm. The studio is small on purpose. Six people at the table is crowded; four is ideal.

AdSwift Haven Pte. Ltd. has worked from this second-storey loft since the neighbourhood still smelled of spice and fresh paint in the stairwell. We are not a network, not a marketplace, not a media-buying shop. Campaign architecture and brand communications for Singapore and APAC — that is the full score.

Signed note

We write before we design. We mark revisions in pencil before anything is sent as final. We keep a kettle for long readings and a ruler for aligning sheets. If you expected a wall of awards or platform badges, this is the wrong studio — we have neither, deliberately.

Who sits here: a campaign lead who reads structure, a writer who drafts to hierarchy, and rotating collaborators for art direction notes when a job requires them. No account theatre, no rotating junior teams. The people at the first bar are the people who mark the score.

The quarter on Dunlop Street moves at shophouse pace — deliveries before noon, foot traffic thickening toward Serangoon Road, rain on the five-foot way by afternoon. We fit client sittings into that rhythm: mornings for readings, afternoons for draft passes, Fridays for sign-off notes.

Nothing on this about page promises a particular commercial result. We describe craft, method, and how the loft works — market outcomes sit with product teams, timing, and decisions made after the score leaves the table.

Walk-ins are rare and never guaranteed — post a note to [email protected] or call +65 6235 4182 during Mon–Fri 09:30–18:30 SGT. The sill is where post is read; see The Sill for detail.

Tiled stairwell leading to the second storey

The building is a shophouse row typical of Little India — retail below, offices above, tiled steps worn smooth. Campbell Lane is a short walk east; Clive Street crosses north. We mention these names because directions matter when you carry printed boards up the stairwell.

Clients sometimes ask whether we are related to other studios with similar names elsewhere. We are not. AdSwift Haven Pte. Ltd. operates only from this Dunlop address. Our work is campaign architecture; we do not sell media inventory, software tiers, or retreat programmes.

The loft keeps physical pin boards because some approvers still read better on paper. Digital PDFs leave the table too — but the room is arranged for reading, marking, and stacking sheets flat. That is the plan-chest instinct applied to campaign work, except we are not storing blueprints.

Quarterly rhythm: January and July often bring proposition refreshes; September sees launch clusters before year-end. We book seasons ahead but keep two first-reading slots open each month for teams who arrive without a fixed plan.

Language in the room is English with British spelling unless a brief requires otherwise. Mandarin or Tamil may appear in client materials; we mark translation needs on the hierarchy sheet rather than improvising in production.

Visitors sometimes confuse the loft with co-working space. It is not open for drop-in desk rental. The table is booked for client readings, score builds, and internal draft sessions. That keeps the room quiet enough to read copy aloud without shouting over strangers.

We publish no staff roster online. The about page describes roles, not names, unless a signed letter includes a name for contact purposes. Privacy for a small studio keeps attention on the work, not personalities.

The signed note on this page is revised when our working methods change — not for seasonal marketing. Check the footer date if you read us after a long gap.

A small loft can still hold a long score.
