In score

Questions arrive the way briefs do — some precise, some overlapping. These answers collect what teams ask before they post a note or walk up the stairwell, without turning the homepage into a FAQ wall.

Open one line at a time. The first item is expanded by default.

What does campaign architecture mean here?

It means the written order of work before production: positioning, message hierarchy, channel sequence, approval gates, and draft lines where needed. It is not media buying and not a guarantee of market results.

Do you produce finished ads?

We write the score and supervise notes at production reviews when asked. Design, film, and media execution stay with your partners unless scoped otherwise in writing.

Which industries do you work with?

B2B software, consumer goods, fintech with strict compliance language, and product teams revising propositions for APAC. We do not take gambling, adult, or crypto promotions.

How long does a score build take?

Typically two to four weeks for one campaign, depending on approval paths and channel count. The first bar meeting confirms timing in writing — no fixed promise before we read the brief.

Is there a minimum engagement?

Formats are named in words on Rehearsals — first reading, score build, season, launch run, advisory seat. We do not publish amounts on this site.

Do you work with existing agencies?

Often. We write hierarchy documents your agency executes. We attend their reviews as note-takers when helpful, marking what must not drift from the approved score.

What language and spelling do you use?

en-SG with British spelling — organise, centre, programme, licence (noun), practise (verb). Copy packs note where US English must appear for specific channels.

Where are you located?

37 Dunlop Street, #02-01, Singapore 209366 — second storey above the five-foot way in Little India. Directions are on The Sill page.

How do I start without a form?

Email [email protected] or call +65 6235 4182 during Mon–Fri 09:30–18:30 SGT. Include the brief, timeline, and stakeholder list. Post is read at the sill each morning.

What happens to my materials?

Briefs are stored flat in labelled folders for the engagement duration, then returned or deleted per your written instruction. See our privacy policy for PDPA detail.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. Mutual NDAs are available before materials are sent. Standard terms cover confidential briefs, draft copy, and internal strategy documents.

If your question is about fees, we answer in conversation — nothing on this site names a figure. If your question is about outcomes, read the disclaimer on Dunlop Desk: we describe craft and method, not commercial promises.

Accordion answers are not a substitute for reading the stave. If you are evaluating whether to hire a studio, start with Staves for capability detail and Rehearsals for engagement shapes. This page collects friction points we hear often so you do not have to guess from a homepage alone.

We do not publish client logos or named case studies. When we describe experience, we name categories only — a Singapore B2B software company, an APAC consumer-goods brand — and the methodological outcome in words, never numbers.

Revision policy: two marked passes are included in most score builds unless the brief scope expands in writing. Additional passes are scoped as change notes, not surprise invoices on this site — discuss in the engagement letter.

If you arrived from a search engine looking for media buying or rank guarantees, this studio does not offer those services. We write campaign architecture; execution partners remain yours unless scoped otherwise.

Questions about accessibility or plain-language summaries can be emailed to [email protected] — we answer in the same tone as these entries, without sending you to a call centre queue.

The accordion uses native HTML details elements so answers stay readable when JavaScript is off. Only the first item opens by default; others expand on click.

Eleven questions are grouped here across engagement, language, location, confidentiality, and materials handling. If yours is not listed, email a single sentence — we reply with a direct answer, not an auto-responder chain either.

Ask plainly. We answer in plain language.
